Overall great with some exceptions...We brought our senior class here for their trip. It was a great base camp for touring the New England states. However, there were some inaccuracies from what we were expecting. The chalet is definitely smaller than what you find in the photos. We fit comfortably, but those in the loft were cramped and didn't have much privacy. Overall, it would be great for looking to do a winter getaway where the creature comforts and cleanliness aren't as much of a necessity. I had my cousin’s Bachelorette at this location. It was absolutely perfect! I mean you cannot beat the views this has. The place was extremely clean and the hot tub was just what we needed after activities. The location was near a lot of great places to eat and fun activities. Perfect spot for a girls weekend! Great location for skiing, snowshoeing, etc. Overall the space was great and clean. The sunroom was cozy & a great spot to enjoy our meals, the fireplace was also essential with it being a chilly weekend, and the wood was very accessible and they had a nice pile of kindling ready to go. There were also plenty of sleeping options for all.We had one minor issue with the main light in the living room which made it quite dim in the main area despite turning on the other lights on the walls which we had obviously thought to do, but we pulled a lamp up from one of the other bedrooms and that helped. Apart from the light situation, the Mountain View Chalet was a wonderful place and truly perfect location for a getaway in the mountains!
